Pink October

Year after year every October companies around the world try to turn attention to the fight against breast  cancer. Hallhuber designed a charity scarf this year where from each scarf 20€ are going to be donated to the German Breast Cancer Society. And I'm happy to be a small part of this campaign I was asked to style the scarf in a special way. While thinking how to do that I remembered that Anna had a great tutorial on how to make a kind of necklace out of a scarf. So this is how my scarf turned out. What do you think?

Jedes Jahr im Oktober wird es in vielen Geschäften pinker. Denn im Oktober versuchen viele Firmen das Bewusstsein rund um das Thema Brustkrebs zu stärken und lancieren zahlreiche Artikel. Naja Conrad- Hansen aus Kopenhagen entwarf dieses Jahr für Hallhuber das Charity Tuch. Das Tuch wird es ab dem 16. Oktober bei Hallhuber für 39,95 € zu kaufen geben, davon gehen 20€ an Brustkrebs Deutschland e.V. Ich bin stolz die Kampagne hier unterstützen zu können, denn ich wurde von Hallhuber gefragt, ob ich das diesjährige Charity Tuch auf meine eigene Weise stylen will. Ich entschied mich für eine Art Kette, die ich nach Anna's Anleitung gebaut habe.  

Was sagt ihr zur der Idee?

Estée Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Aveda and Clinique and many more of the Estée Lauder Companies are having a pink promotion too. 

I was lucky enough to get my hands on this beautiful Pink Peony Set where a part of the money raised will be donated to the German Breast Cancer Society and DKMS LIFE. And if you happen to be in Munich on October 16th around 7 p.m. you'll be able to see the city hall all in pink.
