Mani Monday: Glitterlily

Last Friday spring showed up in Munich. Well the gorgeous weather didn't last too long and on Sunday it snowed again. But to keep my spring mood I decided to polish my nails this week in a perfect spring color: Dior Waterlily. For a little something sparkly I added some glitter on my pinkie finger.
Happy Monday!

These past few weeks the weather has been really cold and my daily uniform consisted of way too many layers. Most of the time I would wear tights with jeans and my denim shirt under a sweater. This combination kept me pretty warm and quite ok in terms of style. Now I can't wait for spring to finally arrive. And luckily enough we are have a first taste of spring this upcoming weekend.

How Do I Do My Nails

After my last nail polish post many of you were asking me how I make my polish last a week or even longer. I experimented for over a year with all kind of different basecoat, topcoat and quick drying topcoat. This is what works great for me and what I can recommend. So here is how I do it.

Banana Bread

I'm actually not the biggest fan of cooked bananas. I love banana milk but this is something different. I tried this bread over a year ago just because I had so many ripe bananas that I didn't know what to do. I was amazed how good this did taste and from then on this bread became one of my instant to go cakes when I'm craving sweets. I substituted the raisins from original recipe (used this recipe) for chocolate this time. This variation is even better than the original one.
