Strawberry Vanilla Jam

For me making a jar of homemade jam belongs to summer must-do's like eating ice cream. I'll be happy like a little kid when I can go pick some strawberries and make a jam out of them ( I think this is a great recipe but I do mine always freestyle like). This year I added some vanilla beans for a bit of a twist. And with some pretty jars this jam is a perfect present for this weekend's BBQ over at our friends place.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Challenge

Last Wednesday I was invited by the lovely girls of Bobbi Brown to a Long Wear Challenge Event to celebrate the launch of the new colors of the Long-Wear Cream Shadow and the launch of the new Long-Wear Eye Pencil. The second I walked through the doors of the amazing location overlooking the whole skyline of Munich we were greated with drinks and BBQ. Following the great welcome we headed to take our makeup off and make the "before" photos. After that step was done we played around with gorgeous Bobbi Brown makeup. We were introduced to the new things and the Bobbi Brown makeup artist explained how to achive the perfect Bobbi Brown look. The best thing about that: we were able to apply the makeup ourselves after each step was shown and explained. This way I know now how to get the perfect Bobbi Brown look each day.

And after we were done with our makeup and the "after" photos we had the real challenge waiting for us: a yoga class to test how good the staying power of our makeup was. Well nothing moved even if we did sweat.

A huge thanks to Bobbi Brown team for the wonderful and challenging day, Nike for supplying us with the sporty outfits and all the blogger girls for a great time!

Summer Uniform

Summer is finally here and in full force. For me it's my favorite time of the year. Dressing is so easy most of the times you just grab a tee and a pair of shorts or a dress and you are fine. Mostly these days if I don't know what to wear this would be my kind of an outfit choice.

Some Weekends

Are just made for cheese... Past weekend while driving around we decided to go to a cheese festival. I love cheese and what could be better than that. Let me tell you I tried so many new sorts of cheese and took way too much cheese home. 

Beautiful Things

Some pretty thing are just made to be photographed. Few days ago I had some peonies at home and decided to show few new makeup items. This Chanel shadow is turning out to be almost my everyday go to color and the Bobbi Brown anniversary palette has so many colors to try, that I don't know where to start. I'm preparing an everyday makeup post and I hope I'll be done with it by the end of the week so watch out for this one.

Striped Love

I've been loving stripes a lot lately. I used to wear them almost every day when I was studying but then stopped somehow. This little number I found at Petit Bateau at the teen department and since then I've been wearing it as often as I can. So you'll probably will see it few more times over here.

Sale Cravings

I love this time of the year when the sales start popping up everywhere. Yesterday the mytheresa.com sale started. Somehow I would buy everything if I would have a money tree... But if I had to pick only three items for the rest of summer I would shop these three kind of very basic pieces.

Lemon Tart

I have to try it, that was my first thought when I found this recipe on pinterest. This Sunday was quite rainy and perfect for baking. I found my way into the kitchen and tried it. The flavors are so nice, rosemary complements so nicely with the lemon cream. And the lemon cream is so light due to the yogurt. This tart will definitely become a staple for parties and just as fast dessert.

Swimming Elephants

Happy weekend everybody! Even if this week was super short somehow I was really ready for the weekend this time. While browsing my computer I found these photos from my vacation in April and just had to share them with you as I love elephants. Never seen one swimming and it was a truly amazing experience.
