Goodbye 2012!

2012 is coming to an end. A year full of great moments, I traveled to Thailand, was able to visit the Fashion Week in Berlin and get to know so many amazing friends. And a year full of amazing readers thank you so much for reading and commenting! Let's have an even great 2013!

Friday's Cravings: Sale Finds

This week sales started everywhere around the web and I've been going a bit sale crazy. Couldn't keep my hands off this J.Crew sweater. And some more gorgeous things. Here is a selection of my favorite items which are almost all on their way to me, except this Marni Edition bag. I'm trying to convince myself that I don't need it.

DIY: Last Minute Christmas Cards

Today is Christmas Eve and I hope you are all having a great and relaxing day. 

May be wrapping up some presents or may be you are still on a hunt for a present. 

This Christmas I was a bit late with all the presents and cards. So yesterday I decided to start a little DIY and instead of hunting some cards down made them myself. 

You don't need much and it's pretty fast.

All you need is some paper, scissors, glue, pens and ribbon.

Friday's Cravings: Spring Colors

Today I'm craving spring and everything that has to do with it. Just like the new Zalando Lookbooks. Oh how I love the Tibi dress on the next photo from the premium lines. 

Homemade Gifts: Nut and Jam Stripes

Thinking about what to give to you friends as a present can be sometimes really hard. After showing you already some gift ideas I want to share another one with you. I think there is something special about making something homemade as a present to your friends. This year I decided, that some homemade cookies and Christmas cards would be the little stocking filler for my friends. One of them were these stripes with black currant jam and nuts (this was my recipe). And now I hope the little packages will make it just in time for Christmas.

Crushed Grape

These past days I've been running out of ideas what to wear. Don't know either it's this time of the year when it gets dark outside pretty quickly or it's my super unorganized wardrobe. The last one is on my big "To-Do"-List for new year. And while the days are dark and grey a little bit of color couldn't hurt.

Anybody else started a resolution list for the coming new year?

Staying Warm

The last few days it's been incredibly cold in Munich. To stay warm I switched from warm coats to the really warm coat. And sweater dresses are working great here as well to keep me warm and are a chic alternative to my daily work uniform of sweaters and jeans.

Gift Guide: Stocking Fillers under 100 €

With Christmas coming closer I'm starting to make lists what I could give to whom. When I'm making thoughts about what to give to my friends I always think what I would love to receive and mostly these presents work out best. One of the things that always been a favorite of mine are scented candles, I never met any person who didn't like one. Last few weeks I discovered Jo Malone ones (I have French Lime Blossom and love it) and can't think of a better thing to give to one of our friends.

Mani Monday: Dangerous Affair by Ciaté

This week on my nails a color out of the Mini Mani Month from Ciaté which was inside the second day: Dangerous Affair. Love this kind of Advent Calendars! Great color but needed three coats to get the full coverage. Now I'm thinking which color to try next out the 10 open doors...

Coast, Oasis and Warehouse Spring/Summer 2013 Press Day

A while ago I had a chance to see the new Spring/Summer 2013 collections of the Aurora Fashions labels. Which included Coast, Oasis, Warehouse and Karen Millen. 

I will start with the first three brands and their new collections. 

Loved how different each of them was. The striped coat and the beaded dress (first picture) were my favorite pieces from Warehouse. 

Geometric

I know what I'd be wearing right now if it would be summer... Exact same outfit you are seeing here. This weekend I wanted to finally put on this pair of J.Crew jeans but the snowy weather was not really inspiring to wear them outside so I decided to play dress up.

Thinking now how to wear them during the snowy season. What do you think?

Apple Cinnamon Snowflakes

Holiday season is upon us and it's only few weeks until Christmas. So trying out new cookie recipes could turn into my weekend hobby. These snowflakes were also part of my package which I did send to Denise for the "Post aus meiner Küche" exchange. This is a quick and great recipe (I used this one) which is not too hard to follow. 

Now I'm thinking what's next to try...

Mani Monday: My Favorite Nail Polish Right Now + 24h Giveaway

Today I have the honor to start the nail polish week where seven bloggers will be showing their favorite nail polishes. Sabine asked me if I would like to join and show my favorite color right now and sure I could say no. Mine would be Le Smoking by Estée Lauder (last seen here). I've been using it just a few times but really love this perfect red, the great staying power and just this "ice cube" bottle.
