La Petite Olga: Mani Monday: So Vain by Estée Lauder

This month Estée Lauder is bringing out the French Nude Collection containing five nude colors for each skin tone. I was able to test two of the five colors So Vain and Diabolique (which I will show you next week). So Vain is a great everyday color slightly beige and with a tiny bit of shimmer. Applied perfectly in two coats with a great coverage.

I got a little bit inspired by the styling ideas of Estée Lauder artists and decided to try the reverse french manicure (if you want you can try all the Estée Colors online over here). Went with base coat, two coats of So Vain and quick drying polish on top and did let everything dry really good. Then when my nails were dry I did use sticky tape to make sure that Diabolique is just on my tips. And finished everything off with another coat of quick drying polish ( I used the good to go by Essie).

I think I'm going to try this look with different colors as well (may be pink and red)...

Estée Lauder launcht im März die French Nude Collection, die aus fünf Nude-Farben besteht, passend zu jedem Hautton. Ich durfte zwei Farben aus der neuen Kollektion testen und zwar So Vain und Diabolique. Heute stelle ich euch So Vain vor, die als tolle Alltagsfarbe bei mir sicherlich öfter zum Einsatz kommen wird. Am besten kann man die Farbe als Beige mit einen ganz leichten Schimmer beschreiben. Sie ließ sich wunderbar auftragen und war in zwei Schichten deckend.

Ich ließ mich von den Estée Lauder Artists inspirieren und probierte die Reverse French Maniküre aus (übrigens könnt ihr hier alle Estée Lauder Farben online testen). Dafür trug ich auf mein Basecoat zwei Schichten So Vain und eine Schicht schnell trocknenden Topcoat auf. Ließ das Ganze ordentlich durchtrocknen. Damit Diabolique nur auf die Nagelspitzen gelangt, klebte ich einen feinen Streifen mit Tesafilm ab und lackierte anschließend noch eine Schicht Topcoat drauf - ich verwende den Good to Go von Essie.

Wie findet ihr das Ergebnis?

Ich glaube ich probiere diese Maniküre auch mal mit anderen Farben aus. Rot und Pink vielleicht...
